Hotel Introduction and Description:
The Vale resort is nestled in over 600 acres of beautiful countryside, which makes it difficult to imagine that you are only minutes from the M4 motorway and less than 20 minutes from Cardiff itself. The resort was once part of the estate of Hensol Castle, a stately home built originally in the mid 17th century, with views of the castle and lake from certain parts of the Lakes Course cosidered the best in the area.

The Vale benefits from 2 championship-standard golf courses - The Lake Course, which has hosted numerous Welsh PGA Championships; and the Wales National Course, completed in 2003 with greens constructed to USGA standard.
