Course Introduction and Description:
Founded in 1905, this undulating hill top course is really golf as it was and should be. Set overlooking Cticcieth Castle, the course is a very good test of golf being some 5500 yards off the back tees. Natural terrain and sheep as moving obstacles, moveable obstructions or possibly loose impediments! This is a nice little course that complements the more traditional links and parkland courses on the Llyn Peninsula.
Very good value for money and played between April and September. Criccieth GC has the distinction of having 3 Prime Ministers play the course on the same day ie: messers Bonar Law, Lloyd George and Churchill.
