ABOUT US

Welcome to golfing heaven.  With over 200 golf courses to choose from throughout the Principality, Wales really provides true golfing connoisseurs and newer players with everything they are looking for when planning a break to the 'Land of My Fathers'. Golf Wales

Wales has many excellent courses, beautiful surroundings go hand in hand with a warm welcome where ever you choose to tee up.  The choice is outstanding and ranges from picturesque parkland courses to more challenging downland and natural links courses.

The area of South Wales plays host to some real historic milestones within the game of golf.  The Glamorganshire Golf Club, situated just outside the magnificent and beautiful capital city of Wales, Cardiff, has a special affiliation with the great game.  It was here that a gentleman by the name of Dr Frank Stableford designed a brand new format of scoring back in 1898.  The Stableford points system is now played world wide by golfers.

Golf Wales

St Pierre Golf Club in Chepstow, being the gateway to Wales, overlooks the Severn Bridge and has hosted some of the largest professional tournaments.  Again the world's best have graced this lovely parkland course and more recently the women professionals of Europe and America contested the Solheim Cup over this wonderful test of all-round golf.

Royal Porthcawl has hosted the Walker Cup, where the grear Tiger Woods played in one of his last amateur tournaments.

The Celtic Manor Resort is a relatively new addition to the area.  During 2007 the new Montgomerie and Ryder Cup courses will be commissioned and with Roman Road there will be three championship courses to enjoy. Please see our Celtic Challenge packages for more details.

Golf in Mid, West and North Wales is also a must. West Wales has links gems in Ashburnham, Tenby and the new Machynys Penninsula. Whilst mid Wales boasts the picturesque parkland courses of Cradoc, Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells as well as the challenging links of Borth & Ynyslas, Cardigan and Aberdovey. If Links golf is your preference then North Wales is a must for you. Take on Golf WalesConwy, Nefyn, Prestatyn, North Wales & Maesdu...you will not be disappointed.

All the courses featured on the information pages are quite simply golfing gems.  In conjunction with fantastic golf, Wales is rich in history, culture and visitor attractions.

Hotel accommodation can be arranged to suit individual requirements - from small B&B's to 5* resorts. Please ask our sales staff for advice and options.

With all this situated in Wales, a golfing holiday to the 'Land of My Fathers' is one that once experienced will never be forgotten. A return visit will be a must.

Wales really is golfing heaven, and to experience it, contact us and let us organise your itinerary.

We have played golf since we were lads and our staff are committed to ensuring that you enjoy your golf in Wales as much as we do!
